Stephanie Ferkins

Staff Geologist

Steph joined EVREN Northwest in 2025 after relocating from Humboldt County, California where she worked on environmental geology and geotechnical engineering projects. She has a variety of experience ranging from geotechnical drilling oversight, environmental investigations, and logging soils, to managing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, project coordination, permit compliance, and technical report writing. One of her favorite projects included helping a small Pacific Northwest town conduct a septic feasibility study, which involved percolation tests and installing piezometers, alongside a curious herd of friendly cows.

In her free time, Steph can be found backpacking, tending to her vegetable garden, doing yoga, or hanging out with friends.
